Sir Rowan has been knighted three times by three different rulers, and has outlived all of them. The sigils pressed into his armour are not decoration — they are oaths, each one burned into the metal at the moment it was sworn, each one still binding. He doesn’t carry a shield. He decided a long time ago that if something was coming for him, he’d rather meet it with both hands on the hammer. The helmet at his feet belonged to the last person who thought his age was a weakness.

Armour That Tells a Story

The sigil medallions on Sir Rowan’s chest and pauldrons are the defining painting challenge of this model — each one an opportunity for freehand, OSL, or object source lighting from a divine glow within. The weathered plate armour rewards chipping, rust, and battle-damage techniques beautifully, while the portrait face and grey hair make him one of the most characterful heads in the range.
